I'd like the opportunity to thank you for your work on our web site
We gained the ability to reach a populous of
people outside our regular advertising area. The yellow pages and local
newspapers were our main source of advertising. Our business is in an
area where we have a lot of competition, so it was important to be found
as one of the first advertisers in the yellow pages.
We spent almost $900 per month to be within the first three ads appearing
in the book. But this, as we all know, only reaches the immediate area
or county you chose to advertise in. Being in more than one book is far
too expensive and was never even considered.
With the web site we are able to reach the entire world. This, though
it may seem too much an area to reach, has benefited us immensely. We
are able to book appointments for people coming from out of town as well
as bridal parties and vacationers who need our services.
The site has saved us on many occasions in areas we never thought about
when setting it up. The time saved on the phone with clients has helped
us spend more time on the clients in the salon as opposed to spending
time on the phone going over prices and directions. We can spend our time
more productively.
Showing new clients our team on the web site puts them at ease. Before
they meet us for the first time as they have already seen us and are assured
through the web site of our qualifications before even entering the salon.
Our salon has been able to reduce its advertising costs and next year
we will be able to drop our yellow pages advertising down, as we are receiving
as many calls from our web site as we are from the yellow pages. Last
year we ran a series of advertisements over the holiday season and monitored
the responses from it as compared to the web site. We were amazed!
The web site brought in more money then the newspaper adds and the yellow
pages. We were able to sell gift baskets and gift certificates to people
all over the United States and mail them to their family and friends locally.
We are thrilled with the results we have had from our web site and look
forward to reducing our costs in advertising and pushing our site more,
for the convenience of our clients and ourselves.
