Redesigning Your Existing Web Site.

As you already know, a web site is an important tool for advertising your business, products and services. We call a web site " The lobby of your Business on the Web ". Having a poorly designed web site can sometimes do more harm then not having a web site at all.

The list below will give you some insight when considering to redesign your web site:

Confusing navigations which gives your web site visitor a feeling of being lost within the site. This can be seen by the main navigation either being totally absent from sub-sections of the web site, or subsections which are not consistent with the rest of the site.
Un-optimized images which take too long to download can be a deterrent to visitors and actually make them leave the site

Aestetically unpleasing, if you have surfed the web then you know there are sites which are unprofessional, with overpowering backgrounds, flashing images which distract from the message being delivered, hard to read text, as well as grainy and poor quality images. A site which does not leave your visitors with a professional feel, can infact turn business away from you instead of generating more for you.

Lack of information, the majority of web sites for small to mid size organizations are online to serve as an "online brochure". Having a lack of information can leave your visitors with an uncertainty about your company. This can be improved upon by a interviews with key personnel within your organization and product or service specifications to obtain information which is organized and informative. The end result will be a web site tailored to your specific needs which educates your visitors.

Missing and broken links, a page which is missing when you click on a link, or an image(s) which is missing from a page are site deterrents.
